For entities within the State
of California
The State of California, Department
of General Services (DGS), has entered into its own California Strategic
Sourcing Initiative (CSSI) contracts for IT Hardware: PC Goods and Enterprise
Servers and Storage products.
Additionally, the State of
California is leaving in place its current Intent to Participate and
Participating Addenda with WSCA/NASPO PC Contracts 2004-2009, but has restricted
its use for California State agencies to those categories not offered under the
CSSI contracts for IT Hardware: PC Goods and Enterprise Servers and Storage
products. Local governments (political subdivisions), exempt State agencies and
other independent state entities are exempt from using the CSSI contracts, but
are encouraged to take all necessary actions to comply with Management Memo
05-11.
