Welcome to the Materials Management Division (MMD) website. MMD is the State of Minnesota's central procurement office. Organizationally, it is housed within the Minnesota Department of Administration (Admin).
Admin's mission is direct and to the point. It is applicable across a broad range of programs and services within the department:

Those of us in MMD take considerable pride in our public service and record of accomplishment. MMD has been nationally recognized as a leader in public sector procurement as documented by the Pew Center for the States in its May 2010 report entitled "States Buying Smarter: Lessons in Purchasing and Contracting from Minnesota and Virginia."
